Refund and Returns Policy – Overview
At Pet Base, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you’re not happy with your items, we offer returns and refunds within 14 days for standard returns and 30 days for items that are faulty or damaged. Please read through the sections below for full details on how to return items, request refunds, exchange products, and more.
Refunds
- 14-Day Returns: You can return any unused and unopened items within 14 days from the date you receive your order for a full refund.
- 30-Day Faulty or Damaged Items: If the item is faulty or damaged, you can return it within 30 days from the date of receipt for a full refund or exchange.
- Refunds will be processed to the original method of payment once the returned item has been received and inspected.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, please check your bank account and contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you still haven’t received your refund after a few days, please contact us at petbase.ie@gmail.com.
Sales Items
Only regular-priced items can be refunded. Sale items are non-refundable unless they are damaged or faulty. Please ensure you read any additional notes about the product carefully before purchasing.
Exchanges
You can exchange items if you need a different size, color, or product. Please return the item following the 14-day refund policy, and place a new order for the exchange item.
The shipping cost for exchanges is the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or damaged.
Gifts
If the item was purchased as a gift and sent directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of the return. If it wasn’t marked as a gift at the time of purchase, the refund will go to the original purchaser.
Shipping Returns
To return your product, please send it to: Pet Base, Prospect Hill, Galway, Ireland.
You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning items. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Why 14 and 30 Days?
- The 14-day return period applies to general returns when you simply change your mind or no longer want the product.
- The 30-day return period is for faulty or damaged items, giving you extra time to report issues with products.
